OverAir’s approach towards the coronavirus disease..

In this article, we give answers to the most common questions we receive from our employees and business partners about the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

OverAir is closely monitoring the development around the novel coronavirus and follows recommendations from relevant national authorities and international bodies, such as the World Health Organization (WHO). The responsibility for the health and safety of employees, customers and other business partners is the company’s top priority.

This is a challenging situation and as a global service provider, we are aware of our responsibilities towards the communities where we operate. OverAir is taking precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of employees, to minimize the impact on the company’s operations and to prevent further spreading of the novel coronavirus.

Our approach is to be transparent towards our different business partners and employess about the measures we take and how OverAir is impacted by the developments. On this page, we give answers to the most common questions we receive from our employees and business partners and we strive to keep the information up to date.

What travel restrictions has OverAir implemented?

As of February 25, OverAir restricted non-essential business travel globally. As of February 27, OverAir implemented guidelines for private travel. Each employee is required to discuss their return to work with their manager before returning to the office.

Employees who have visited countries that are considered high-risk have to work from home for 14 days after their return. This applies to both essential business travel and private travel. The list of high-risk countries is continuously updated and is based on assessments from relevant international bodies, such as the WHO, and national authorities, such as the U.S. CDC.

Does OverAir intend to hold its Annual General Meeting as planned on March 31?

OverAir plans to hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) of business partners 2020 as scheduled on March 31, 2020. But due to the risk for spreading of the virus and as precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of our employees and business partners OverAir has postponed this meeting until we got good news of recovering from corona Virus from WHO. OverAir shall keep posted the progress report.

Has OverAir closed any offices?

In normal circumstances, most of OverAir’s office workers have the opportunity to work remotely and we have the IT environment to do so in a good way.

Now as per current situation of epidemic all the employees are advised to sit at home and to function/work from remote/home only. All employees has to be available on call, Skype and messages as per their working days/hours.

Has OverAir closed any production facilities?

In line with recommendations from the Indian authorities, OverAir’s production site is closed until this pandemic condition gets fixed.

What is the impact on OverAir’s supply chain?

OverAir continues to follow the situation of the Novel Coronavirus and recommendation from the local authorities and WHO, as the company assesses its supply chain. Our prediction remains for Q1, that we will see limited to no impact on our customers. For Q2 2020, our assessment remains that we can cover currently forecasted demands, taking into account known implications and expected outcome from mitigations made following the outbreak. OverAir has a global supply chain set up, which ensures the company works close to customers through its European, Asian and American operations.

How does OverAir oversee the development and make crisis management decisions?

As a global company, we have a process and organizational set-up to deal with potential issues that our company may face, both to ensure the health and safety our employees and to minimize impact on our operations. OverAir’s Group Crisis Management Council is responsible for the handling of major incidents or crises.
